Design a Daisy

Post by peke-lover on Tue Mar 10, 2009 8:33 pm

After Vanda's very successful photo competition, I've come up with an idea for the next 'competition'

Daisy's fur is growing and she needs a clip but i didn't want to do a full body shave this time coming into winter and also I would like to be a little artistic this time, so I figured if everybody can put in an idea of how to clip her, I'll put all the suggestions in a hat and whichever one I pull out i will clip her like that. Really I need to get her longer before I do this but she's feeling the heat even now, so needs must.

Please keep in mind her body shape (big chested, little back end) and my only request is that she doesn't lose her tail and that I have no colours, so colouring is out.

Calm down Andie... deep breaths... count to ten... lol! Hmmm, have to think about it a bit longer and see what everyone else suggests.

It's not an easy one since she's so short so we're limited, but it's not the say the style I clip her in can't grow out from there. If I can keep her cool on the top half there's nothing to say I can't grow out the leg hair for example. Good luck

She's so adorable the way she is...... and you all want to turn her into bees and spiders!!!

I suggest you clip a big heart shape onto her back and write "I love auntie andie" in it.

Really?? I was hoping against the lion clip because that was why I was trying to hint about her body shape. She is very big chested with a smaller back end which I thought the lion clip would accentuate. Are you sure?? I can get some colours though, that would be fun ....

Laugh or cry, but I think you have to say that Daisy is officially a peke-poo

I love you That little face just makes me melt I love you

Great clipping there, Lisa. Good even lines on her body! Legs are scissored really well too, i know peke legs and feet are hard to do coz they're so stumpy and bent, so i think it's a fab job! I love her fluffy rump!!!

Thanks Andie, actually she's got real poodle hair and it's so easy to do. If I keep this clip I'm going to grow out the hair further down on her lower legs so it will all be one shape, a bit like what Emma has on Beth. Plus the extra hair will cover up the bendy bits!

Good work Lisa, very creative, love the V shape on the back. Bet you will have some comments when she is out walking! Should get some work from it.
