Re: schnauzer class
Hi, this is great organising training like this! I live in Tassie so i would need to fly over, but I am very keen to do something if the dates work out, I'm very new and inexperienced so i don't mind what breed it will all help, I would have loved to come to the schnauzer one as I have had heaps of people call up with them lately!

Re: schnauzer class
I'd like to do Bichons. Have not been taught how to do them. Westies I am reasonably comfortable with for the pet clips that I do. I wouldn't mind learning Scotties or Airedales.
Can we set the date soon, so that I can find a day that is vacant????

Re: schnauzer class
No probs I will ask mel at the acd she shows Bichons and said we can do a class there for $100 per student instead of the $230 it usually is:)

Re: schnauzer class
We need to get 6-8 groomers to go to get that price, so I will sort a date and start asking around:)

Re: schnauzer class
Is this open to others who are not from Victoria, as I would be willing to fly over for this sort of thing?

It's a good way to make new friends. Donna came to stay with me for a Melbourne dinner and we'd never met. It's been a friendship ever since. That's what this Forum is all about. It would be fantastic if you came over.

Hi Guys
August doesnt suit the girls at the ADC because Ausgrooms on and the bichons will be used in the contests.
Im waiting to hear back from Mel to see what month would be best.
Can Anyone bring a Bichon in to use on the day??

Hey for those coming tomorrow it looks like its going to be cold cold cold. So suggest wearing warm clothing for the morning when we are sitting and observing. when we are grooming in the afternoon it should be ok. I will have heating but its a big space to heat up

Re: schnauzer class
Well done to you both. A most enjoyable day and I'm also looking foward to catching up with everyone again. I always love hearing what others have to share and and it never ceases to amaze me the variety between groomers. We all learn't something new today in one way or another and that's what it is all about.
Big thankyou to Sarah (animalia) for co-ordinating it all and also to Bianca (chase) and your family for the use of your garage and providing a yummy lunch. Awesome.
Thanks also to Pam who gave her time and expertise today and was very patient and keen to help. Inka now looks like a schnauzer and Wilbur was sooooooo glad to see her come home as he was a PITA all day without her.....
Hope this day also brings Carla and Dom to the Forum very soon.
