Stunning Emma. I will try to post a pic of Maiya in Scandinavian to give some ideas....
She was just over one, you only need to trim a young puppy slightly.

SOOO CUTE!! I wish I had my mini when she was that small, I got her because she started to pee on the judges! she did win a Royal melbourne before I got her, so she quit while she was ahead! lol

I now consider myself a poodle person! I never thought I would ever say that, but when they look up at you with their almond eyes your heart melts!

Unfortunately the lady who bred her and showed other poodles (in sydney or qld) passed away last year.

OMG that would be a mini expressing her opinion! Winning a Melbourne Royal is quite a coup - you'd think they would have persevered.

She has actually stopped peeing on the grooming table, she was doing that aswell, she's still a bit nervous though on the table. She won the puppy class in the royal melbourne, Im de-sexing her in 2 weeks!!!! She came with all her paper work and a few ribbons she won as well, I think from memory her show name was arpil bumpkin lov??? Maybe there was another reason aswell as the peeing for the handler to give her up??

Hmmm - there's always a reason...mine stay here and I work through any issues - must be my obedience background Razz .If they thought she had potential you would think they would have kept her, but sometimes it's just to make room for a "better" one. I've been told to "get rid of it" and get a better one and was horrified.
Show dogs are usually great on the table because they spend so much time there. Mine go to sleep Laughing.

she's great being groomed and just stands there while I do her face feet and tail and other scissoring (other than when she first gets on the table), at the start she had severe seperation anxiety and would follow us every where! She' A LOT braver now than when she first came here. I know the handler had other poodles that she showed but she really loved Tori and cried sooo much when I came to pick her up. She came in full show coat and I kept that for a while but she kept messing it up playing with my heeler.
