Sick of colour

Post by Bed and Biscuits on Sat May 22, 2010 11:46 am

Ok, This may be a silly question, I dont know the answer so where do I come-Yeah, The forum. I used dyex colour on my stpoo and now I am bored with it. Been on for 6 weeks, very colourful socks and tail. Everyone else loves it but I am over it now. It is semi perm but want a change. Do I need to clip it off and start again or can I dye over it or ?????? I am just not sure. I really want to do him a full body tangerine colour but not sure the best way to go about it. All you colour experts, please advise??? I thank you all so much in advance-MWAH!

As far as I know, you'll have to wait for it to grow out.

My Coco has had a dyex dyed pink tail for about 6 months and I haven't retouched it. It's a fairy floss pink now but still very visible. I tried to dye over it with fudge semi permanent but it didn't take at all.
Hope that helps?

I didn't use dyex on Nat, used manic panic,in April it was very dark, after 3 or so baths it faded to light yellow. I mixed two colors the other day and dyed over that and it came out fine..(I had clipped off yellow body)

Has it faded at all? Maybe using a darker color over it.. Question

That is the draw back with Avatar, Dyex and Pet Esthe is that they tend to hold and hold and hold..........
this is one of the things I love about Manic Panic, and Queen of Color, I can change colors in as little as a month iin some cases. Clients also easily get bored or even burnt out on color that remains in too long and may turn off to coloring totally.

Thanks Dawn. Now....someone hook me up with a white female standard. I showed my daughter the recent pics from the crative link on fb and she was so excited. She wants to try that. I told her that creative grooming has definitely escallated by leaps and bounds over the last 2 years. It's just phenomenal. I am more than impressed.
