Little girl lost

Post by Admin on Fri Feb 26, 2010 8:41 pm

little lost puppy that had dug a hole by our gate in the 40C heat and waited for us to get home ! It could have just wandered off through the farm fence , but it had dug a giant hole under the bush by the gate and ran out to the van when we arrived! No clue what breed(s)
If not claimed will need a new home I love you

yeah! she now has 7 new playmates plus toys , food and drink to spare ......

She isnt going to be a big dog ...some one suggested maybe Poodle x JRT . I reckon they might be on the money.

Hmmm, I was thinking that it might be a BCxJR, just from the blaze on the chest. She looks happy at Aunty Tammy's Cool

we are just calling 'Kiddo' at the moment. No one has enquired after her yet, but i have not heard back from the council dog warden either.
She has taken up residence with Story and is having a blast. She was out in the yard but Baby Bear was being a meanie !!

update on the puppy...... a friend of a friend from around town said they saw it tied to our fence at 11am yesty morning. We arrived home at 4pm and it was still there, although we saw no evidence of it having been tethered.
Anyway, it would seem that she will definitely be up for adoption ...... any takers . She is a very sweet little dog I love you

She sure is cute, but I'm too far and Curt would have a fit. Still trying to get a poo out of him, lol. I thought she looked like a BCX myself.

She's gorgeous and is obviously very smart to dig her way into auntie Tammy's yard and heart. Do you know which irresponsible a-hole tied her to your fence? Sorry Tammy, I'm way over the limit already, but I'm sure she'll find a forever home. I love you

UPDATE.....
i sent little girl lost to the council pound on the Monday morning after she was abandoned at our place. I knew if i didnt she would end up staying....the last thing we really needed.
Our local dog catcher is pretty good at liasing with people to get our pound dogs into homes where possible, but i told him if her number comes up ,please bring her back and we will extend the time she has to find a new home ( as the alternative out here is a bullet ) ....
Anyway, i heard through the grapevine that she had been placed in a home , so i was very relieved. Last night i was coming back from the street and i see a girl walking a rather familiar puppy. i waved like mad to get her to stop ,pulled over and introduced myself.
So , our littLe girl has found the best of homes, has been fully vetted ,is going to get speyed next week , and has been named SUGAR .
The vet confirmed my suspicion that she is at least 6 months old ,and will not get much bigger .
